Siren Asylum
The Siren Asylum UX Research Project aimed to enhance the user experience of Siren Asylum’s fitness app by introducing personalized tracking, social engagement, and inclusive features. The existing GoTeamUp app was functional but lacked progress tracking and community-building tools, leading to low retention and engagement. My goal was to reimagine the user experience and propose design enhancements tailored to the target audience.
Issues
The project had several challenges, including communication barriers, tight deadlines, and frequent design iterations. However, the final product successfully introduced:
Fitness Progress Tracking – Allowing users to monitor their goals.
Personalized Workout Plans – Customizable by trainers.
Social Engagement Features – Encouraging community interaction.
Brief
This project involved in-depth UX research, wireframing, and UI design to improve the fitness app’s usability. Key contributions:
User Research & Competitive Analysis: Evaluated existing fitness apps and gathered user feedback.
Design Process & Wireframing: Created low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes in Figma.
UI Development & Testing: Designed interactive screens and refined them based on client feedback.
